The first EVAR procedure in Nigeria took place on 7th of March, 2021 at ABUAD Ekiti state by a combined team of medical professionals from ABUAD , IRAD, First Cardiology Consultant Healthcare and LASUTH , led by interventional radiologist Dr Hammed Ninalowo
EVAR, which stands for Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, is a minimally-invasive endovascular surgery used to treat pathology of the aorta.
